The main task of the Health and Safety Coordinator at the construction site is to coordinate the safety of all participants in the construction both in the preparation and procurement.
The activity of the Health and Safety Coordinator is defined by Act No. 309/2006 Coll. and amended by Government Decree No. 591/2006 Coll. The Health and Safety Coordinator must be appointed on all construction sites where more than one contractor will operate and the scope of the construction will exceed the set limits.
During the construction, the Health and Safety Coordinator primarily prepares the health and safety plan, notify the contractor of failing in the application of health and safety requirements found at the workplace, and gives suggestions and recommends technical solutions to ensure health and safety on the construction site. He also monitors compliance with the health and safety plan and, if appropriate, calls and manages health and safety inspection days.
